3rd-5th Grade
Momtahina Hossain
Ms. Momtahina Hossain is a rising sophomore at Hunter College, majoring in human biology, with plans to become a pediatrician in the future. One of the main reasons she chose to be a math facilitator this summer is that, in school, almost everyone around her expressed a dislike for math, stating how difficult it was and how they didn't understand the way the teacher was presenting the lessons. Ms. Hossain always felt sympathetic because she enjoyed math and wished others would too. She would help those around her, showing them that there is more than one way to arrive at the answer. Additionally, she is part of the Math N' More Tutor fellowship.
